The dashboard is the first page you see after signing in, and you can return to it any time by clicking the Trace.Space logo at the top of the left sidebar. It has three built-in tabs, My feed, Analytics and Trace Rules, followed by any custom dashboards you or your colleagues have created. Click the + button at the end of the tab bar to create a new one.
My feed
My feed collects what needs your attention.
What do you want to do today? - the chat panel. Type a question or task in the box, or pick a suggestion such as Summarize last week's changes. Sending it opens the AI chat in the right sidebar with your message as the start of a new conversation. This panel only appears when AI is enabled for you.
Agentic processes - every long-running job started for you: AI chats running in the background, the AI reviewer, exports and imports. The header shows how many are Processing or Failed; expand the panel for the full table with the task name, type, when it started and its status. Click the stop icon to stop a running job, the resume icon to resume a stopped one, or the link on a finished job to open its result.
Assigned to me - reviews you are a participant in, with how many items you have reviewed, the due date (a warning icon marks overdue reviews) and whether the review is still open.
Comments - mentions of you and replies to your comments.
My recent items - the items you edited most recently.
Analytics
Analytics gives an overview of the whole organization:
Items - how many items exist per item type.
Items changes over time - items created and items modified per period, as a line or bar chart. Change the date range to zoom in or out.
New Edits, Comments and Activity - the latest edits, comments and activity across all items.
Baselines - counts of Editable, Closed (that is, frozen) and Archived baselines.
Reviews - counts of Open, Closed and Archived reviews, plus Reviews due and Reviews Closed lists.
Trace Rules
Trace Rules draws your item types as nodes and the traceability rules between them as arrows, so you can see at a glance which types are expected to trace to which. The rules themselves are set per item type; see Item types.
Custom dashboards
A custom dashboard is a page of table panels, each showing the live results of a saved filter. Use one to keep a set of lists in one place, for example open issues, unverified requirements and this sprint's test cases. Custom dashboards are visible to everyone in the organization. You need write access to the organization's items to create or change them.
Creating a dashboard
Click the + button at the right of the tab bar (Create dashboard).
Enter a Name and click Create dashboard.
The new dashboard opens as its own tab. It starts empty with a prompt to define your first panel.
Adding a table panel
Save the filter you want to show first; see Saved filters.
On the dashboard, click Add panel. The Panel settings form opens in the right sidebar.
Enter a Name for the panel.
Under Filters, pick a saved filter from the dropdown. Favorites are listed first, and you can search by name. If you have none yet, the dropdown offers New filter view.
Optionally click Show/hide columns to choose the columns. Switch All columns or individual columns on or off, and drag a column by its handle to change the order. The choice is stored with the panel, so it does not affect the saved filter or other panels.
Click Save panel.
The panel shows its name, a count of matching items and the table. Click an item's ID to open it in the details sidebar.
Arranging and editing panels
Drag a panel by its handle to move it before or after another panel. Click the ... button in a panel's header to Edit its name, filter or columns, Duplicate it, or Delete it.
Renaming, duplicating and deleting a dashboard
Click the ... button next to Add panel in the dashboard header to Rename the dashboard, Duplicate it including all its panels, or Delete it. Deleting cannot be undone; the saved filters behind the panels are not affected.
